Authors are encouraged to submit work-in-progress on Intelligent User Interfaces and Development Tools in a short paper of four (4) or less pages. Papers will be included in the proceedings. Authors are welcome to present their work during the poster session. A poster sketch or a video along with a sketch of the video may accompany short paper submissions.

Submission Checklist

To submit a short paper to IUI99, please follow this checklist:

Prepare an IUI99 Cover Page (text or RTF versions).
Complete your paper using a maximum of four (4) pages in the CHI Paper Format(PDF, Postscript).
(Optional) Prepare a 1-page sketch of your poster, or an NTSC VHS Video depicting your work along with a 1-page sketch describing the video. For video, please refer to the IUI99 Video Instructions.
Make three (3) copies of the cover page, paper, and sketch or video and video sketch.
Staple each copy of the paper and sketch, with the cover page at the front.
Send the three copies of all materials to the Program Chair.
Submissions must be received by July 1st, 1998.
We recommend the use of an express courier rather than regular postal service.

IUI98 is not able to accept submissions by FAX, email or electronic means.

Final Submissions: October 15, 1998
