International Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces

IUI'98 IUI'98 IUI'98 IUI'98 Sponsored by ACM SigART and SigCHI

If possible, please submit a sketch of your poster.

Authors are encouraged to submit work-in-progress on Intelligent User Interfaces and Development Tools to the poster session. Please submit a short paper describing the work to be presented; this will be included in the proceedings.

Poster-presenters should expect to have a space of approximately 4 feet x 4 feet in which to display their work. Power outlets may be available at some poster positions to enable live demos. We will contact authors after the review process is completed with specific instructions for the preparation of posters and with a detailed list of Audio/Visual facilities available during the poster session. Authors will be responsible for supplying their own computer equipment for demos. We recommend strongly portable machines with battery power supply.

To submit a poster to IUI98, please follow this checklist:

  1. Prepare an IUI98 Cover Page.
  2. Complete your paper using a maximum of four (4) pages in the IUI98 Paper Format.
  3. (Optional) Prepare a 1- or 2-page sketch of your poster, or an NTSC VHS Video depicting your work. For video, please refer to the IUI98 Video Instructions.
Note that preference may be given to submissions that include a sketch or videotape.
  4. Make three (3) copies of the cover page, paper, and video or sketch.
  5. Staple each copy of the paper and sketch, with the cover page at the front.
  6. Send the three copies of all materials to the Program Chair.
Submissions must be received by July 1st, 1997.
We recommend the use of an express courier rather than regular postal service.

IUI98 is not able to accept submissions by FAX, email or electronic means.
