INSTRUCTIONS FOR PANEL
PROPOSALS

Panels
Panels are solicited that would provide controversial or stimulating
debate on any of the topics relevant to the meeting. The positions
to be taken by the panelists and the structure of the panel should
be clearly specified. Please submit a panel discussion paper,
describing the topic of the panel and including position statements
and brief biographies of each participant. The discussion paper
will appear in the conference proceedings.
To submit a panel proposal to IUI98, please follow this
checklist:
- Prepare an IUI98 Cover Page.
- Complete your discussion paper, using a maximum of six
(6) pages in the IUI98 Paper Format.
- Make three (3) copies of the cover page and paper.
- Staple each copy of the paper, with the cover page at the
front.
- Send the three copies of all materials to the Program Chair.
Submissions must be received by July 1st,
1997.
We recommend the use of an express courier rather than regular
postal service.
IUI98 is not able to accept submissions by FAX, email or electronic
means.

Important Dates
Submissions: July 1st, 1997
Review notification: September 1st, 1997
Final submissions: October 15th, 1997
