The X-Media Student Scholar and Volunteer Program provides partial travel support of up to 250 Euro for students who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students at colleges and universities, who submit papers to the conference or workshop programs and show letters of recommendation from their faculty advisor. The X-Media Student Scholar and Volunteer Program can provide a limited number of scholarships. Preference will be given to students from countries with weaker currencies and to students who have an accepted technical paper. However, all eligible students are encouraged to apply. Scholarship applications must be filed by a letter of application to Ms. Ruth Götten, ruth.goetten at uni-koblenz.de, enclosing a proof of eligibility (e.g. a copy of student identity card), a letter of recommendation from the faculty advisor as well as statements indicating clearly why the applicant might receive preferential funding. After the conference, an expense report will be required to account for the funds awarded. Reimbursement of the scholarship will depend on satisfying fulfilment of the (quite limited) volunteering activities. For further information regarding the Program, please contact Ms Götten.
